BioLite and PaygOps join forces in a unique “one-stop-shop” package

BioLite and Solaris Offgrid are excited to present you the latest “one-stop-shop” offer in the off-grid industry, combining both BioLite SolarHome 620 and PaygOps solutions in a unique package, available for purchase at BioLite! This offer represents one of the very few all-inclusive Paygo solutions available in this industry. With a unique branding coherence, it facilitates product adoption by both customers and on-the-ground staff through a BioLite branded version of PaygOps (available in 2019, illustration below).

“With the BioLite team, we realised many distributors in the off-grid sector desired further support from their strategic providers through a greater collaboration among ourselves and simpler purchasing possibilities which would allow them to have both Paygo hardware, software (and related support) solutions together in one package” says Thibault Lesueur, co-founder of Solaris Offgrid, who adds, “with this BioLite+PaygOps inclusive package, we offer a fully integrated, yet modular and flexible Paygo solution which supports last-mile players in their successful market expansion.

Both products are and will remain interoperable with other hardware/software solutions as it is a necessary pre-requisite in the sector to ensure true distributors’ flexibility. Nevertheless, a collaboration of this magnitude is the first of its kind for both companies which are always driven by the ambition of offering the most appropriate options to their field partners: “I have been impressed with how flexible Solaris' PaygOps software is - it's customizable and compatible with any hardware - and therefore meets distributors’ diverse needs. These features sit well on top of our products, which are modular and upgradeable and so can grow with our partners as their customers' energy needs grow. Solaris Offgrid is building the scalable tool and BioLite the comprehensive home energy portfolio for our partners to deliver tailored consumer finance for these products shares Ethan Kay, Managing Director of Emerging Markets at BioLite.

Leading player in the off-grid sector, BioLite’s products are well recognised within the industry for their innovative and high-end designs. In addition, both BioLite and Solaris Offgrid focus most of their R&D efforts on having modularity and last-mile inclusiveness at the heart of their design, which are key reasons why both brands are now leaders in their respective segments. Ethan Kay adds “both our teams blend deep technical expertise with on-the-ground operational know-how, which is invaluable to supporting PAYG partners in markets such as sub-Saharan Africa.”

Similarly to BrightLife in Uganda, a venture of FINCA International, and several other distributors, we invite you to test and adopt both PaygOps and BioLite SolarHome 620 together to enhance your growing operations. If you are interested in receiving more information (product demonstrations, complementary documentation, etc.), please contact Ethan Kay at ethan@bioliteenergy.com to find out more about this combined offer !
